ecore_id: A unique identifier that allows you to retrieve information
on this ecore at any stage. In case a newer ecore supersedes this ecore,
a link and a warning will inform you of the newer information available
on this region.
start: the first base of the ecore in the chromosome
end: the last base of the ecore in the chromosome
size: the size of the ecore in base pairs
score: the score is first calculated for each individual base of
the ecore, by averaging the BLAST score of each base of the alignments
that make up the ecore at this position, and then averaging the score of
all the bases of the ecore. In other words, the score is proportional to
the length and degree of amino acid similarity between the human and the
Tetraodon region. It may thus be used to sort the ecore according to their
relative conservation between human and Tetraodon.
links: ecores have been compared to other databases or are integrated
in other genome annotation facilities that can be accessed via these links.
(Links to the GoldenPath and Ensembl provide a +/- 10 kb window around
the position of the ecore)
Tetraodon sequence updates
Exofish comparisons are regularly updated as more Tetraodon genome sequence
is produced. The table below provides a reference for the successive sequence
updates.
