            | About the Vitis project | | This Grapevine genome sequence analysis results from a collaboration between
	  Genoscope, INRA,
the Institute of Applied Genomics and a consortium
of Italian groups. The sequence data was generated by
Genoscope, The Institute of Applied Genomics and the University of Verona and the assembly
was performed using the Arachne program. The gene
predictions were performed using the GAZE
	  computational framework.
This project was financed by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research,
	  the Consortium National de
Recherche en Génomique, the Agence Nationale
de la Recherche, INRA, the Italian Ministry of Agriculture (VIGNA-CRA),
and Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia together with a consortium of private companies and banks (IGA).
