The objective of this project is to obtain about 300 polymorphic markers for each of three species (Triticum urartu, Triticum speltoides and Triticum tauschii) which are ancestral to wheat (Triticum aestivum). Added to those already available, these markers will permit a coverage of about one polymorphic marker every 10 cM, on average.
