Since May 1st, 2007, Genoscope has been a part of the Institute of Genomics, supervised by the CEA (ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION).

This eighth institute of the CEA groups together Genoscope (National Center of Sequencing) and National Center of Génotypage teams. The CEA undertook to maintain the main service of both platforms to serve the national scientific community for sequencing and genotyping. Beyond this commitment, the CEA will be able to offer to these structures an adapted technological environment, an innovation culture as well as a support in the valuation of their activities.
