State of the project:
Genoscope is undertaking the sequencing of the complete genome of Ralstonia taiwanensis, a symbiotic bacterium of legumes which is taxonomically related to Ralstonia solanacearum, a pathogenic bacterium of plants.
Two plasmid libraries will be constructed (3 kb and 10 kb), the sequencing volume of about 100,000 reads is expected, and a finishing step will be performed.
