State of the project:
SAGE is a powerful technique for the quantitative transcriptional profiling of different tissues and developmental stages. Transcriptional profiling of both known and unknown cDNAs is possible using this technique.
Our project aims to sequence and compare cDNA TAGs obtained from early male and female mouse embryos in order to identify candidate transcripts involved in the X-inactivation.
