Developments for the DNA extraction workshop and the “Finishing” teams

Sequencing technologies are changing constantly, and require numerous modifications in order to adapt to the production phase. The last generation of capillary sequencers (ABI 3730 copy and paste http address) in which the sequencing capacity has been multiplied many-fold, led to a doubling of the production of the template preparation workshop. The group therefore had to look for new strategies to respond to this demand. The first project was the passage from cultures and DNA extractions of DNA in 96-well microplate format to 384-well format. The second strategy used was to develop RCA strategy (copy and paste http address) (Rolling Circle Amplification), article to amplify DNA using several vectors available in the center.
